The topic of the lectures was "Robotic-Assisted Total Knee Arthroplasty - Current challenges and future perspectives". As a recognized expert in Depuy Velys Robotic Assisted Total knee replacemenet surgeries, Dr. Ihekweazu gave an overview of where the field of Joint Replacement surgery is with these new technologies and how these techniques will continue to evolve in the coming years. Dr. Ihekweazu emphasized that these technologies are tools that can be used to enhance the outcome of total knee replacement surgery, but ultimately, the experience of the surgeon matters most. Overall, the new robotic knee replacement techniques have been outstanding for our patients thus far and we are excited about what the future holds for patients seeking joint replacement surgeries with these technologies in the future.
